Cooperative Development Authority Region 7 had conducted the “Byaheng Kooperatiba: Tuloy-tuloy na Biyaya sa Kooperatiba, (COOP-CDA Partnership Caravan). The activity was CDA’s way of bringing to the cooperatives the latest information on cooperative programs and services. It was also an avenue for CDA to hear the concerns of the cooperatives with regards to the organization of RCOs, SAOs and the NAC.
The activity was conducted on two occasions in a blended platform. On September 9, 2021, an online and face to face activity took place at the Amethyst Boutique Hotel, Cebu City, with a minimal participants. IATF protocol and guidelines were strictly observed. And on September 10, 2021, it was a full online activity. Around 200 cooperative leaders had participated and overwhelmingly voted for the relevance of the organization of the RCOs.
CDA Chairman, Undersecretary Joseph B. Encabo graced the activities. Assistant Secretary Vidal D. Villanueva III was also present to answer queries of cooperatives regarding CDA updates. Engr. Doreen C. Ancheta, Regional Director, led the CDA 7 management in the conduct of the activity.
