The Cooperative Development Authority Regional Office 7 conducted an online activity on March 14, 2023 in celebration of the National Women’s Month.

The activity was in coordination with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). The subject of the webinar was “Women and Gender in Media”. The speaker, Ms. Rodina Pangilinan, Project Evaluation Officer III, presented topics that concern online  harassment, determination of real information, and being #DigiTalino, mindful to safety of personal activities and information posted in the digital world.

This year’s theme, “WE, Gender Equality and Inclusive Society’’ is a call for the participation of everyone.

Information is readily available, and this is the challenge of the cooperatives to take active part in the correct and timely information dissemination to their members as well as their communities through responsible use of social media.
