The Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office VIII marks its 127th Anniversary today with the theme โPasidungogโ, a celebration that gives tribute to the agencyโs dedicated partners in agricultural development across Eastern Visayas.
As part of the program, the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Region VIII was among the honored awardees during the Awarding of Outstanding Partner-Stakeholders. Receiving the Plaque of Recognition on behalf of CDA Region VIII was Regional Director Venus Jornales, recognized for her steadfast leadership and the agencyโs vital role in strengthening agri-based cooperatives and supporting rural communities in the region.
The celebration features meaningful messages from key officials and the ceremonial launching of Panalinguha: DA RFO 8 2024 Annual Report and Talunaya: DA RFO News Magazine, highlighting milestones and continuing efforts in agricultural advancement.
