The CDA RO VIII through the Supervision and Examination Section (SES) organized a successful Orientation on the Fiscal Incentives Review Board (FIRB) Annual Tax Incentives Report (ATIR) and Annual Benefits Report (ABR) on March 4, 2024 via Zoom platform.
Participated by a total of 185 cooperative representatives from Region 8, the CDA guided the cooperatives’ Compliance Officers and Bookkeepers in accomplishing the FIRB Form 3003AS v2.2 as of December 20, 2023.
Those cooperatives with Certificate of Tax Exemptions (CTE) submit these reports in compliance with DOF-DTI JAO 001-2023 prescribing the guidelines to implement the Sections 305, 306, 307 and 308 of the National Internal Revenue Code (NIRC) of 1997, as amended by the CREATE act under R.A. 11534 otherwise known as the “Corporate Recovery and Tax Incentives for Enterprises” specifically for cooperatives registered with the CDA.
The CDA sought the effort and willingness of the cooperatives in submission of these required reports on or before its deadline, April 30, 2024. Likewise, the cooperatives appreciated the CDA’s continued guidance. The Authority was happy to receive accomplished reports by the cooperatives after the successful completion of the said orientation.
