One Hundred Thirteen (113) cooperative leaders joined the Virtual Orientation-Workshop on the Computerized GAD Assessment Tool for Cooperatives held on November 12, 17, 18, 19, 2020 through the Zoom platform. Still, many other cooperatives expressed their interest to join but were limited due to the absence of internet connectivity in their area.

During the orientation, Sr. CDS Ellen M. Ando emphasized the objectives for which the computerized GAD Assessment tool was developed and the benefits it will provide the cooperatives particularly in the determination of the extent to which they have embraced the GE principles and in the identification of the specific gender equality needs and concerns to be addressed in their GAD plan and budget.

CDS II Alvazer B. Duran and Sr. CDS Elvira C. Dioquino assisted the regional management in promoting the use of this tool as resource speaker during the first and fourth batch of the orientation.

The Zamsurgeacmpc, the Women/Widow Apostolate of Pagadian City MPC, and the Samboangan Bayahihan MPC took the challenge and presented their workshop output, which helped in the understanding of the tool better from their perspective.

The participants who participated in the workshop confirmed the ease and convenience of the tool and expressed their gratitude to Director Ruben L. Cunanan for holding the orientation-workshop.
