In the midst of the Covid-19, the Western Mindanao State University-Multipurpose Cooperative (WMSU-MPC), through its social responsibility, responded by giving rice to both members and non-members of the cooperative. This somehow had greatly helped our members and non-members in surviving the pandemic.
WMSU-MPC continued its commitment to serve and share as much resources as may be provided to its members. Employees have been reporting for duty every Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays to facilitate loan applications and other WMSU-WMPC’s transactions as well as releases of cheques due to members.
Since the WMSU-MPC performs regular operation even during this pandemic, the management oversees compliance with the IATF guidelines and CDA memoranda. Employees are required to wear face masks and face shields at all times and provided with alcohol for disinfectant. The office is also secured with plastic barrier for the and security of employees and members who come to transact business in the office. The employees are also provided with transportation as not to jeopardize their health and security in reporting for duty.
There is no certainty as to when this pandemic will last, but as long as the cooperative’s resources allow, the WMSU-MPC shall continue its commitment and social responsibility by providing services and efforts to help our members in every way it can. Every member will not be left coping alone with the Covid-19. “Alone I am weak but with others, I am strong.”.
