On October 27, 2023 at Taguig Convention Center, New Taguig City Hall, Pedro Cayetano Blvd., Ususan, Taguig City, the 2023 Taguig City and Pateros’ Coop ICON Awards Night was successly held under the stewardship of Ms. Lecira V. Juarez, Taguig City CDO Head. This was in coordination with the Taguig City Local Government Unit, headed by the ever active and supportive City Mayor Maria Laarni L. Cayetano, Councilors Ed Prado, Jomil Serna and Edgar Baptista, and Congressman Ricardo “Ading” Cruz, Jr. To quote the Mayor in her speech, “this prestigious 2023 Coop Icon Awarding Ceremony, is Taguig City’s platform to honor and celebrate the exemplary efforts of Cooperative Leaders, Officers, Management and Organizations, highlighting their dedication, innovation, and positive impact to the community. By acknowledging their outstanding contributions, Local Government Unit Taguig aims to inspire and motivate the Cooperative Sector to continue striving for excellence, and sustainable development.”
