The Malabon City Cooperative Development Council, in coordination with the Malabon City Cooperative Development Office, held a Kickoff Ceremony last October 2, 2023 to welcome the start of the Cooperative Month Celebration in their city. The activity started with a Mass at the Sto. Rosario Parish Church in Dampalit, Malabon City followed by a motorcade. It was participated by a total of 65 cooperative members coming from 14 cooperatives operating in the city. Complete with their cooperative colors and banners, participants rode on environment friendly e-trikes provided by the Cooperative Council for which Malabon City was famous for. The event aimed to create awareness on the importance of saving the environment as well as to show support to the cooperative movement. Participants convened at the church grounds of Sto. Rosario Parish Church after the motorcade to have a simple thanksgiving feast.
