On the occasion of the 126th Philippine Independence Day celebration, Taguig City and its Cooperative Development Office (CDO) celebrated the occasion together with the Leaders of the Coop Sector of Taguig at the Taguig Convention Center, located along Cayetano Blvd, Taguig City. On the same occasion, TCDO in collaboration with the Cooperative Development Authority ( CDA) and the Cooperative Union of Taguig & Pateros (COUNTPA) defined the celebration with an Orientation and Forum on the CDA Omnibus Rules of Procedure with over 200 participants composed of Board of Directors, Chairpersons of the Committees on Audit, Ethics and Mediation and Key Management Officers. The celebration and the forum was graced by the Chairperson of the Committee on Cooperatives and Peoples Organization in the Sangguniang Panglungsod , Hon. Carlito M. Ogalinola. The two (2) Forum Speakers were Atty. Somiranao M. Dimtang Jr, from the Adjudication Division, CDA Head Office and Atty. Roberto S. Suarez II, Legal Officer of the CDA NCR EO. The forum earned very high appreciation from our attendees as to its relevance and significance in the cooperative governance and management especially with respect to to inter and intra disputes and conflicts in the cooperatives.
