The cliniquing conducted last July 28, 2023 showed that a number of cooperatives have deficiencies regarding compliance with mandatory trainings which in turn affected the release of their Certificate of Compliance (COC). Part of the technical assistance rendered was helping cooperatives comply with their deficiencies, inspection findings and other issues encountered by micro cooperatives especially those who are newly registered.
As an initiative of Mr. Robert Tiongco, CDS II assigned in the area, he coordinated with the Cooperative Research Information and Training Section (CRITS) together with the concerted efforts of Mandaluyong Cooperative Development Office (CDO) and the Cooperative Union of Mandaluyong City (CUMC) to conduct the free mandatory trainings for cooperatives. There were Ten (10) cooperatives who availed of the said trainings for their compliance. On the part of the CDO and CUMC, they provided free food for the participants in all of the activities.
