Koop Kapatid Program : The MOA Signing

Amparo Transport Service and Multi-Purpose Cooperative was chosen as small brother of Llano Multi-Purpose Cooperative because of the difficulties they encountered with regard to the submission of mandatory reports to CDA and compliance with mandatory trainings for the cooperative officers.  The former has a lot of future plans with regard to its business operation and it would be in vain if it cannot comply with such requirements.  During their last General Assembly, they had a ribbon-cutting for their own gasoline station which would surely boost their business operations.  Other future plans such as a consumer store for spare parts and the acquisition of a bigger parking lot were also considered.

For this reason, the MOA Signing between Llano MPC and Amparo TS and MPC was held at the Llano Multi-Purpose Cooperative Compound, 473 Llano Road, Barangay 167, Caloocan City last September 2, 2022.  It was attended by Mr. Eustaquio M. Angeles (Chairman of Llano MPC), Mr. Darios V. Lasac (Chairman of Amparo TS and MPC), Ms. Grace G. Torres (CDS II, Caloocan City) and other coop officers.  Virtually present were CDA-NCREO Regional Director Pedro T. Defensor, Jr., Ms. Prima Sarah R. Parangue (Sr. CDS, CPDAS) with Ms. Marivic C. Llobrera (CDS II, CPDAS) as host.  The event had a happy ambiance as both cooperatives were very positive about the Koop Kapatid Program.  Previous meetings with them have also been conducted to ensure that the said program was comprehended by both parties.  With the continuous support of everyone, the said program would be successful and serve as an encouragement to other cooperatives who have the same setbacks.
