In these most trying times, several cooperatives promptly responded the call for the Bayanihan to Heal as One Act since it was enacted last March 25, 2020. In fact, even before it was formally passed, there were already cooperatives who truly showed the value of sharing and caring not only to their members but also to their communities. The Love Corps Covenant Multi-Purpose Cooperative of Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City is stepping up in initiating way to serve the community where they operates. Last April 17, 2020 they were able to served One Hundred Sixteen (116) beneficiaries in their Barangay in the distribution of three (3) kilos rice each. Said beneficiaries composed of the different households including community frontliners who also extended help to the coop in the maintenance of peace and order. They also strictly observed social distancing procedure even during the repacking up to the actual distribution.
