As last hurrah of the Cooperative Month Celebration this October 2022, the Malabon City Cooperative Development Council, in partnership with Persons with Disability Affairs Office of Malabon City, and in cooperation with the Malabon Cooperative Development Office, CDA NCR, and Malabon Cooperatives, the feeding program for PWDs was successfully accomplished albeit the weather.

On October 31, 2022, Two Hundred (200) PWDs, aging from 7 to 12yrs old – with their guardians, participated the Feeding Program launched by the Malabon CDC and CDO. The said activity was conducted from 1PM to 4PM at Tugatog Covered Court, Tugatog, Malabon City. The program was started by an invocation led by Mr. Noel Suarez (Chairperson of Malabon Central Market Cooperative), and followed by Mr. Norvin Aguilar (Chairperson of Malabon City Cooperative Dev’t Council) as he welcomed the participants. It is indeed a remarkable day as Hon. Jeanne N. Sandoval, City Mayor, gave an inspirational message for the children with disabilities. She gave encouragement and promised a full support in the future activities that will benefit them. Also, the focal person of PDAO, Mrs. Maria Luz Cecilia S. Guevarra, discussed and gave reminders on the upcoming activities for the PWDs. As the program ends with the closing remarks from the OIC of Malabon CDO Mr. Edgardo Cruz, we were all happy to see the smiles of the children as we gave the kits and distribute the food for them.
