An inspirational author, whose tidbits of wisdom have been published in over 100 different books, has once quoted that “One of the most important things you can do on this earth is to let people know they are not alone.” These words of Shannon L. Alder were truly exemplified by one of our cooperatives from Malabon City who willingly shared their resources to their very own Local Government to help fight the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Malabon City Government Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative (MCGEMPC) has donated One Hundred Thousand Pesos (Ph 100,000.00) to the Malabon City Government as part their community service to manifest their unwavering support to the tireless efforts of their LGU headed by their Honorable City Mayor Len-len Oreta, in mitigating the adverse effects brought about by the corona virus outbreak. The said fund was charged to the Community Development Fund of the cooperative. With such an action made by this cooperative, it only confirms that even in times of crisis, cooperatives remain true in having a heart of service not just for their members but even to the communities they serve as well. – FMC #CoopsAgainstCovid-19
