Pasig City was abuzz with excitement as Mayor Vico Sotto inaugurated the highly anticipated Mega Job/Trade/Cooperative Fair at Ayala Malls The 30th which happened from July 18 to July 23, 2023.  The event was spearheaded by the Pasig City Local Economic Development and Investment Office (LEDIO) in collaboration with Pasig City Cooperative Development Office (CDO).

The fair showcased the commitment of Pasig City to drive economic growth and provide a platform for job seekers, entrepreneurs, and cooperatives to thrive.  With Mayor Vico Sotto’s presence, the event began on a high note as he emphasized the importance of supporting local businesses and creating avenues for employment.

The CDO and LEDIO played a vital role in organizing the fair since their expertise and resources ensured a diverse range of opportunities for participants.  The involvement of multiple companies, including three Labor Service Cooperatives, provided numerous job openings across various industries and offered a unique chance for job seekers to connect with employers and secure meaningful employment.

In addition, the Cooperative Trade Fair featured participation from eight cooperatives, representing the vibrant cooperative sector in Pasig City.  These cooperatives showcased their products and services, highlighting the benefits of collective efforts and community-driven initiatives.  By promoting the cooperative model, the fair encouraged attendees to explore sustainable business practices and fostered collaboration among cooperatives.
