Culminating Activity

The Pasig City Cooperative Development Office in coordination with the Pasig City Cooperative Development Council held its 3rd Cooperative Congress to culminate their Cooperative Month Celebration. The two-day activity was attended by 166 participants from 58 cooperatives in Pasig City. It showcased the four Cooperative Clusters Forum with Resource Persons coming from the Cooperative Development Authority. Each cluster discussed their plans and programs for the sector with interaction from the cooperative participants.  It was a momentous event graced by Senator Imee Marcos as the keynote speaker who emphasized the need for cooperatives to adapt change towards development. She also stated the importance of cooperative programs for social activities that will benefit not only the members but also their community. Highlight of the event was the recognition and awarding of partner cooperatives who joined the Koop Kapatid Program as Big Brother to Small cooperatives within the city and the winners of the concluded KOOPlympics.
