Cooperatives enable connection by keeping close membership of people in a society.  It also creates network of people unified by a common goal where everyone makes a benefit. As such, more and more people have signified their intentions in putting up a cooperative in their community.

In coordination with the Caloocan City Cooperative Development Office (CCCDO) through Mr. Allan Lambojo (OIC-CDO), Pre-Registration Seminars (PRS) were conducted in several areas in Caloocan City namely Malaria, Caloocan City Hall South, Camarin and Cielito Homes from February to March 2023.   Ms. Rachell Ann Solayao, Cooperatives Development Specialist II (CDS II) was the speaker for the different groups who have attended the said PRS such as solo parents from Barangay 168 and 171, teachers and employees of Manuel L. Quezon Elementary School, vendors, residents of different barangays in Caloocan District 1 and 2 as well as employees of HSLF Construction Company.

Cooperatives are a long-term path to development. For those who have undergone PRS who are pursuing the registration of their proposed cooperatives, we are seeing hope that in the near future, rapid economic growth will be seen because of the Cooperative Sector.
