Quezon City Cooperative Development Council (QCCDC) Holds Two-Day Strategic Planning in Partnership with the Quezon City Small Business and Cooperatives Development Promotions Office (QC SBCDPO)

The Quezon City Cooperative Development Council (QCCDC), in collaboration
with the Quezon City Small Business and Cooperatives Development Promotions Office (QC SBCDPO), successfully conducted a two-day strategic planning session from February 11-12, 2025 at The Tribute Hotel, Quezon City. The event aimed to strengthen the cooperative sector in the city by addressing key concerns, analyzing opportunities, and formulating strategic goals for the coming years.

A major highlight of the two-day activity was the formulation of the QCCDC’s Vision, Mission, and Goals (VMG). The council worked collaboratively to establish a clear direction that aligns with the aspirations of the cooperative sector in Quezon City. The newly crafted VMG is expected to serve as a guiding framework for cooperative development initiatives and policy advocacy in the city.

Moreover, the council collaborated to create their strategic goals and also their plans and programs for the next three years for cooperatives in Quezon City. This comprehensive planning ensured that cooperatives in the city will have a structured and sustainable roadmap for growth, innovation, and resilience in the years to come.

The strategic planning session underscored the commitment of QCCDC, QC SBCDPO, and CDA-NCR to empower cooperatives through continuous capacity-building and structured development programs. The insights and strategies formulated during this event will pave the way for a stronger and sustainable cooperative movement in Quezon City.

With strengthened collaboration among key stakeholders, the future of cooperatives in Quezon City looks promising, ensuring that they remain vital
contributors to local economic development and social progress.
