Sta. Elena High School Teachers and Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative

“Learn to light a candle in the darkest moment of someone’s life. Be the light that helps others see; it is what gives life its deepest significance.” – Roy T. Bennett

Expressing love, empathy and compassion in these times of crisis makes us feel that we are not alone in this war against the pandemic. Showing our support to the most needy in our community as a manifestation of our social responsibility, defines Cooperativism. In Marikina City, several cooperatives participated in the conduct of different community services and intentionally spent certain amounts from their different funds for this purpose. One of these is the Sta. Elena High School Teachers and Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative. Headed by Mr. Hadji Tejada, the cooperative recently shared their resources by giving one thousand (1,000) pieces of bread to the community and healthcare frontliners of Marikina Valley Hospital. The Barangay Council of Sta. Elena deeply expresses its gratitude for this simple way of sharing the coop extended to them.
