March 27, 2025 | The Taguig Cooperative Development Office (TCDO) in partnership with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), and in collaboration with Union of Defense and Public Safety Cooperatives (UDPSC), Cooperative Union of Taguig & Pateros (COUNTPA) and our Taguig Cooperative Development Council successfully held the “𝐄𝐧𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐧” a One-Stop-Shop for securing a Certificate of Compliance (COC) for Micro, Small, Medium and Large Cooperatives in Taguig and Pateros at Taguig Lakeshore Hall, C6 Rd Lower Bicutan Taguig City. The handholding activity becomes more enabling particularly with our Micro and Small cooperatives with the participation of Cooperative External Auditors and Certified Public Accountants—Arlyn Domingo, Bernadethe Balagot, Anthony Marbella, and Jefry Liparto. Additional support comes from 24 accountants and bookkeepers from ACDI Multipurpose Cooperative, led by its Executive Vice President for Administration, Ms. Esperanza Cauyan, and its Head for External and Cooperative Affairs, Dr. Patrick John Rico. A total of 112 participants from 44 cooperatives received full-service support for their compliance requirements with the authority. This service includes five stations: Station 1: Verification – Determination of the cooperative’s status with the authority. Station 2: Evaluation – Review of mandatory reports, including CAPR, PAR, SAR, LOTA, MedCon, and AFS. Station 3: Bookkeeping – Assistance in the preparation of financial statements. Station 4: Auditing – Preparation and review of financial statements, ATIR, and ABR. Station 5: Issuance – Processing of payments and issuance of the Certificate of Compliance (COC).
