The Taguig Cooperative Development Office (TCDO) together with the Cooperative Development Authority – National Capital Region Extension Office (CDA-NCREO), conducted a Compliance Seminar and Workshop (Reportorial Requirements for Cooperative Practical CAIS Workshop) on March 7, 2022, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at 393 Taguig Lakeshore Hall, C6 Road, Lower Bicutan, Taguig City.
Welcome remarks, acknowledgement of resource persons and participants, and updates from the Taguig CDO were given by its Officer-In-Charge, Ms. Lecira V. Juarez. This was followed by the reading of Congressman Ricardo “Ading” Cruz, Jr.’s inspirational message. Updates from COUNTPA were delivered by Mr. Russel Baldomar while the FCDS assigned in the area talked about the guidelines on inspection, area profile and development programs of CDA. Ms. Emerlinda G. Guillemer, Senior CDS of Supervision and Examination Section (SES) discussed the mandatory reports together with Ms. Rhodora Fernando.
The afternoon session was devoted to workshop and hands – on training on how to maximize the use of the Cooperative Assessment Information System (CAIS) in the submission of reports.
The workshop was attended by 144 participants from 56 Cooperatives who were all pleased with the result of a fruitful and empowering Compliance Forum.
In appreciation of the Resource Speakers, Taguig CDO Officer-In-Charge, Ms. Lecira V. Juarez presented each one a Certificate of Appreciation and a small token. She also expressed her gratitude to Union of Defense and Public Safety Cooperatives (UDPSC) and Cooperative Union of Taguig and Pateros (COUNTPA) for sponsoring the food. This was followed by photo ops which ended the day’s event.
