Inspired and guided by this year’s coop month theme “KooPinas: Nagkakaisang Lakas para sa Makabuluhan at Sama-samang Pag-unlad, the Manila Federation of Cooperatives (FOCOS), in partnership with the Manila Cooperative Development Council (MCDC), commenced the month-long celebration of the Cooperative Month with a Feeding Program Activity held on October 1, 2022 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Plaza Hernandez, Tondo, Manila.

At least six hundred (600) indigent residents composed of toddlers/young children and adults (men and women) of Barangays 3, 4, 5 and 7 in Tondo, Manila benefitted from the activity.  The officials of said communities provided some logistics and security in support of FOCOS and MCDC for the success of the event.

In line with their advocacy, the FOCOS and MCDC will continue to cooperate, collaborate and coordinate with other organizations, both government and non-government, in carrying out programs, projects and activities for the welfare of the cooperators and communities.
