The partner cooperative, USSC Employees Credit Cooperative together with its beneficiary cooperative, Homenet Producers Cooperative formally penned a Memorandum of Agreement under the Cooperative Development Authority’s Koop Kapatid Program on October 5, 2023, at the Conference Room of CDA NCR Extension Office. A short program was undertaken and witnessed by CDA NCRO personnel headed by its Regional Director, Pedro T. Defensor Jr., and representatives from the Quezon City Small Business and Cooperative Development and Promotion Office, Mr. Arnikan Abueva and Ms. Cherrie R. Olivar.

Under the program, the partner cooperative assists its beneficiary cooperative in the repair and improvement of their office, and provides additional office furniture and equipment such as cabinets, table, and storage rack.  The beneficiary cooperative, on the other hand, commits to ensure the successful implementation of the Program and designate a focal person that will be in charge of the monitoring and reporting of the implementation to the partner cooperative and the Authority.

The activity ended successfully with a ceremonial turn-over of a cheque donation of USSC Cooperative to Homenet Producers Cooperative.
