ADVISORY: SUSPENSION OF ACCREDITATION OF COOPERATIVE EXTERNAL AUDITORS WITH EXPIRED LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

All CDA Accredited Cooperative External Auditors with valid accreditation are advised and reminded to update their records to the CDA to avoid suspension of their accreditation.  Valid licenses, certifications and other documents shall be submitted to the CDA to replace the documents which have been expired.  These include Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) ID, PRC Board of Accountancy (BOA) Certificate of Accreditation, PICPA Certificate of Good Standing (CGS), Business Permits, and Professional Tax Receipt (PTR).

Accredited Cooperative External Auditors are given three (3) years certification to audit cooperatives on the account that pertinent records as Certified Public Accountants (CPA) are also valid.  As Accrediting Body, the CDA has the right to suspend accreditation of individuals or firms who have expired licenses and certifications based on our records.

In view thereof, CEAs who have invalid/expired licenses and certification are hereby suspended until such time that you have updated your records to the CDA.

For your information.
