SUBJECT : DETERMINIATION OF THE QUORUM REQUIREMENT IN SEQUENTIAL GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETING OF COOPERATIVES
Pursuant to Article 35, RA No. 9520 and MC No. 2022-01, Regulatory Relief in the Conduct of General Assembly Meeting for the Calendar Year 2022 due to the COVID 19 Pandemic, cooperatives are hereby advised to master the required quorum in the conduct of their sequential general assembly, in any of the following manner:
- Quorum shall be determined and declared for each of the number of days scheduled for the conduct of GA until adjournment on the last day.
- Quorum shall be determined and declared on the day the percentage required is achieved.
- Quorum shall be determined and declared on the day prior to the adjournment.
All concerned are hereby enjoined to be guided accordingly.
