The Cooperative Development Authority Region I Extension Office headed by Regional Director, Atty. Frederick Joe N. Robles find ways to serve the cooperative sector. To serve the cooperatives best, partnership with the Cooperative Development Officers in the Local Government Units is essential, thus, a coordination meeting conducted regularly would be of great importance.
The 3rd quarterly meeting with the Cooperative Development Officers/Focal Persons from Ilocos Norte was conducted at the Provincial Agriculture Office Compound, 3rd floor, INAFEC Building, Laoag City last August 23, 2023. The meeting was attended by the Regional Director, Atty. Frederick Joe N. Robles; Senior CDS Renee Faye Cariño, CDS IIs Christine Joy Combes and Rosievic R. Medina and the fifteen (15) cooperative officers/focal persons from different municipalities, cities, and the provincial government. Various topics that would reach out the cooperative sector were presented.
During the meeting, one of the agenda is the Cooperative Month Celebration. The LGU Cooperative Officers shared their plans and programs to celebrate the cooperative month. The Regional Director informed the proposed conduct of Regional Cooperative Month Celebration in Ilocos Norte and asked the Cooperative officers’ suggestions, commitments, and assistance. The group expressed its support for the aforementioned event.
