DAVAO CITY – On 29 September 2023, Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Regional Office XI Director Glenn S. Garcia, assisted by CDA Regional Office XI Legal Section Chief Atty. Earl Larroder, CRITS Senior CDS Maria Theresa B. Dave, and CDS II Jed Harvey A. Vertucio led the ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between CDA and the University of Southeastern Philippines (USEP) on the CDA Training of Trainers Program.

USEP side was represented by its University President Dr. Lourdes C. Generalao, Vice President for Administration Dr. Maria Luisa Bautista-Faunillan, Extension Division Director Dr. Roby V. Pagong, and CBA faculty-representative Dr. Helen Grace C. Legorio.

This inked partnership is part of CDA’s Cooperative Development Programs to ensure that Accreditation of CTPROs can be more accessible to applicants who intend to serve within Region XI.

As of the moment, USEP was the second university within region XI who partnered with CDA and heeded the call for solidarity to provide access to cooperative training and education.
