DAVAO CITY- Consistent with its hot streak of having the highest number of successful dialogues in the Philippines from the Authority, CDA Davao Legal Unit was able to resolve a cooperative dispute between two (2) primary cooperatives from Maragusan, Davao De Oro during a closed-door meeting in December 12, 2023 at the CDA Hearing Room, CDA Building, Friendship Road, SPMC Compound, Dumanlas, Davao City.

The disputants were able to reach an agreement represented by the respective Board of Directors and General Manager through the participation of Atty. Earl D.F. Larroder, CDA Legal Officer and Mr. Paul Ryan Simbajon, CDS II for the CDA Legal Unit.

After the said dialogue, the parties paid a courtesy call with Regional Director Glenn S. Garcia to share their insights about the situation of their respective cooperatives. The dialogue mechanism of the Authority is based on Rule III of the CDA Omnibus Rules of Procedures, promoting an alternative mode of dispute resolution.
