DAVAO CITY-The first batch of Law Student Practitioners (LSPs) from Rizal Memorial College assisted the Legal Unit of CDA Region 11 Extension Office to execute a successful settlement agreement during its dialogue proceeding under Rule II of the CDA Omnibus Rules of Procedures on September 27, 2023.

A dialogue proceeding is a non-litigious, informal and non-adversarial process where a dialogue facilitator from the Authority shall settle any intra/inter-cooperative dispute. The LSPs were immersed in the dialogue proceeding in accordance with the CDA Legal Awareness Program (CLAP), wherein partner law schools shall sent their LSPs to observe and assist the Legal Unit of the Authority.

The Law Student Practitioners were Ms. Ashmera Rakim, Ms. Sushmita Zamora and Ms. Colleen Rapisura. The presiding dialogue facilitator was Atty. Earl D.F. Larroder, Chief of the Legal Unit of CDA Region 11 Extension Office and Cooperatives Development Specialist II, Paul Ryan R. Simbajon.
