Cross-audit affirms CDA Caraga EO conformances

A team of Internal Quality Auditors (IQA) from Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Davao Extension Office visited Caraga Region for the conduct of internal quality audit to CDA Caraga EO last August 14-16, 2023. This annual and continuing activity covers the Registration of all types of cooperatives and support processes. This is aimed to ensure and confirm continued conformance to ISO Standards in line with an organization’s policies and applicable management system standards, to identify non-conformities and areas for improvement and to determine whether the quality management system is effectively implemented and maintained.

The team of Ms. Zara B. Perez being the Lead Auditor arrived in the morning of August 14 and warmly welcomed by CDA Caraga EO Family lead by the ever dynamic, passionate and supportive Regional Director Monatao Honeya R. Alawi. During opening meeting, knowing each other was one of the highlights where Ms. Perez introduced her audit team members and Director Honeya likewise introduced her Family members.  After which, presentation of the 2023 approved Audit Plan followed.

During audit proper, the auditees/process owners showed their full cooperation with sense of confidence and kindness to the auditors that made the activity very successful and effective.

The 3-day activity concluded with the presentation of the audit reports during the exit conference and Caraga EO conveyed its approval and agreement to the audit results and expressed its commitment for the appropriate compliance to the findings. A follow-up audit is scheduled on September 18-20, 2023.
