On March 15, 2024, the stars aligned for the CDA Region III personnel as they were recognized during the CDA PRAISE 2024 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC). The CDA PRAISE Ceremony is an annual event that serves as a platform to honor and commend officials and employees of the CDA who have showcased exemplary performance, contributed to operational efficiency, or demonstrated extraordinary acts of service in the public interest. This year, three (3) exceptional personnel from the CDA Region III were named among the Top 3 in their respective categories, with one personnel earning the prestigious award, alongside an awardee for Professional Development Award.
Ms. Monika Vanessa T. Escober, Cooperatives Development Specialist II and designated Human Resource Management Officer, received the Professional Development Award for successfully completing her Master of Business Administration degree at Don Honorio Ventura State University. Meanwhile, Ms. Elena P. Dela Cruz, Accountant III, earned recognition as one of the Top 3 finalists for the Outstanding Performance Award in the Second Level Position category. Additionally, Ms. Jasmin P. Barroga, Cooperatives Development Specialist II and Acting Head of the Supervision and Examination Section, was named among the Top 3 finalists for the Outstanding Performance Award for Cooperative Development Specialists. Lastly, the esteemed Ms. Marieta P. Hwang, renowned for her passion and dynamism, secured her spot as one of the Top 3 finalists for the Outstanding Performance Award for Regional Directors.
Among the distinguished delegates from CDA Region III, it was Ms. Jasmin P. Barroga who emerged victorious, clinching the prestigious award and surpassing Cooperative Development Specialists nationwide.
Meanwhile, Mr. Brian John C. Mendoza, a Cooperatives Development Specialist II also from the CDA Region III Extension Office, showcased his musical talents by delivering heartwarming melodies during the event.
