Despite its ECQ status in view of COVID-19 crisis, cooperatives in Albay province are not deterred in extending continous services giving due regard to the quarantine protocols.

One of the cooperatives who responded immediately in giving help amidst this pandemic is LACE Multi-Purpose Cooperative (LACE MPC). It is a medium cooperative in City Hall Complex, Ligao City, Albay. Together with Ligao Association of City Employees provided five (5) kilos of rice to 358 members and 512 non-members as relief during the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ). The coop utilized their community development fund amounting to Php 40,000.00 to buy bags of rice.
