CASURECO II EMPLOYEES MULTIPURPOSE COOPERATIVE : HELP IN THE MIDST OF A PANDEMIC

We at the CEMPC are extremely grateful that despite the COVID 19 pandemic, the cooperative was not adversely affected and was still able to collect its receivables.

Cognizant of the needs of its employees during the two month lockdown period when there was no work, CEMPC was still able to provide full salary for the months of March and April without any deduction from their leave credits, the release of 50% of 13th month pay and a cash assistance of P4,000.00 each employee.

Employees who reported for work during the ECQ period were given P100.00/day as food allowance. The officers in a gesture of solidarity to the employees, donated their April honorarium in favour of the employees, which amounted to P2,583.00/employee as additional cash assistance.

Hygiene packs were distributed to all CEMPC members. Each pack contained soap, alcohol, facemask and tissue and was worth P350.00/pack.  All officers and employees also received Vitamin C packs.

The total amount disbursed was Php 426,600.00. Funds were taken from the Coop’s General Fund and 50% from the CDF accumulated funds.

Beneficiaries of distributed benefits were 352 members and 10 employees/staff.

We at CEMPC believe that the Filipinos resilient spirit thrives even under adverse circumstances and will continue to persevere.

It is the responsibility of CEMPC to provide its utmost support to its members in these times of crises.
