Masbate City – The Cooperative Development Authority in collaboration with the Agri-Partylist represented by Cong. Wilbert T. Lee conducted an Agri Forum and CAIS Training for Agriculture Cooperatives at Greenview Hotel, Masbate City last May 18, 2023.

21 cooperative representatives attended the said activity which not only aims to showcase the Agri-Partylist’s services but also to ensure the compliance of Agriculture cooperatives in the province. The event was graced by Ms. Rose Raquel Pante on behalf of Cong. Wilbert T. Lee, Mr. Ronaldo H. Zurbito, chairperson of PCDC-Masbate and Coop Union of Masbate (CUM), and Mr. Rodor Bose, PCDO designate of PLGU-Masbate.

The participants gladly expressed their intention to avail the Agri-Partylist’s services discussed by Ms. Pante, but emphasized that only compliant Cooperatives will be extended with their assistance. The CDA programs and services were also discussed while the CAIS Training was conducted afterwards.They also visited the Sampaloc-Malinta Farmers Multi-Purpose Cooperative located at Brgy. Malinta, Masbate City to monitor the recently installed Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) for the CDA’s Wifi Connectivity Project. Said coop is one of the 11 beneficiaries to avail a one-year free internet subscription in Bicol Region.
