Business Continuity Management (BCM) is a strategic approach that helps
cooperatives/organizations prepare for and respond to potential disruptions in their business operations. It involves identifying potential risks, developing plans to mitigate those risks, and ensuring that essential functions can continue in the event of a crisis. BCM aims to minimize the impact of disruptions on business operations, protect the organization’s reputation, and maintain customer trust. By implementing BCM practices cooperatives can enhance their resilience and adaptability in the face of unexpected events.
Sr. CDS Jordan A. Madjus from the Cooperative Research and Information Training Section (CRITS) served as the speaker during the workshop. Participants were given the Business Continuity Tool Kit during the workshop as part of their training output.
