August 17, 2022, is a memorable date for Samar MPC (SAMICO), our large cooperative in Samar Province at the same time as our Koop Kapatid/Big Brother partner for this is the day to remember since it is the turnover of 111 Imported Dairy Goats from the National Dairy Authority as identified and recipients of the NDA-USDA PL 480 Community Based Dairy Enterprise Project. The ceremony was held at Saint Isidore Farm, Brgy. BAlugo, Tarangnan, Samar.

It was participated by the different National Government Agencies such as DOST, DTI, CDA, DA, National Dairy Authority, PCA, PLGU, OPA and Landbank Foundation who give support and commitment to the Cooperative. Three (3) Board Members from the 1st District attended the ceremony.

The cooperative is supplying milk to Calbayog DepEd 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 at 41 foam at 35 bottles/foam every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. While in Catbalogan City Division located in Brgy. Payao, delivered sixty (60) foam four (4) times/week.
