As John Holmes has said, “There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.” It is in these trying times that we can best exemplify these words to reach out a helping hand and lift one another’s burdens. We see this through every cooperative who have gone an extra mile to respond to the needs of its members and the communities as well. On its part, the Excellent People’s Multi-Purpose Cooperative has taken the initiative to extend assistance to their members through a moratorium on the payment of loans of members falling due within the period of the Enhanced Community Quarantine. This is to enable their members to at least have ample time to recover from whatever losses they might have incurred during the COVID19 crisis.
