As part of the Cooperative Month Celebration and in compliance to MC 2015-09 “Revised Guidelines Implementing the New Training Requirements of Cooperative Officers”, the Caloocan City Development & Coordinating Division headed by Mr. Allan L. Lambojo, Caloocan City Cooperative Development Council under the leadership of Ms. Lucy G. Furo and the Valenzuela Cooperative Development Office (Accredited Training Provider) conducted a four-day Mandatory Training for officers of the Caloocan City Cooperatives. The training was held last October 9 and 13, 2023 at Buena Park, Sangandaan, Caloocan City and October 10-11, 2023 at Bulwagang Katipunan, Caloocan City Hall, 8th Ave., Grace Park East, Caloocan City.
The Fundamentals of Cooperative (16 hours) and Governance and Management of Cooperative (16 hours) were attended by 21 cooperatives with a total of 90 participants. After the said training, they were expected to apply all the learnings they have acquired when they return to their cooperatives.
As always, the Caloocan City Cooperatives were overwhelmed by the unwavering support of the beloved Mayor Dale “Along” Malapitan who sponsored the food for the said activity. It is indeed a wonderful celebration of the Cooperative Month in Caloocan City!
