In Marikina City, the cooperative sector never fails to share love and kindness in these unprecedented times. Among them is the Sta. Elena High School Teachers and Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative in which from the beginning of the ECQ period here in Luzon, had already responded to the community where they operate. Recently, they gave focus to the needs of their members alone by releasing cash assistance amounting to Two Hundred Eighty-Four Thousand Pesos (Php284,000.00) from the coops’ Optional Fund. This is to augment the budget of the members for their basic necessities during the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) period.
