The Cooperative Development Authority calls on all cooperative leaders nationwide to join its officials and employees on August 26, 2015 in paying grand tribute for the late Senator Agapito “Butz” Aquino – the adored icon of the Philippine Cooperative Movement. A mass which will be officiated by Father Anton Pascual of Simabayanan ni Maria MPC shall jumpstart the whole-day event to be followed by tribute messages by selected CDA officials and cooperative leaders. The “tribute” program is the handiwork and jointly orchestrated by the CDA and Philippine Cooperative Center (PCC) in coordination with NAPC – Co-op Sector Council, National Cooperative Development Council (NCDC), League of Cooperative Development Officers of the Philippines (LCDOP) and the Joint Congressional Oversight Committee on Cooperatives (JCOCC).
